YO /POL/, listen up.>be me, browsing the internet since dial-up>seen this play out a million timesRemember when Parler was gonna be the "free speech" haven? "NO CENSORSHIP HERE!" they screamed. Then what happened? Apple and Google yeeted them from app stores, then suddenly Parler was "moderating" content. LOL. Same with Gab, same with Truth Social. Every single one of them starts off with the "free speech absolutist" schtick, then the second they get a bit of heat, or some big tech company breathes down their neck, they fold like a cheap suit. It's ALWAYS the same cycle. A platform gets popular because it promises to be different, then it becomes exactly like the platforms it claimed to be fighting against. They all get centralized, they all get pressured, and they all start swinging the ban hammer. It's not even about "muh free speech" anymore, it's about control. Who gets to say what? Who decides what's acceptable? And right now, it's a handful of tech giants and their political overlords. So, what's the actual solution? I'm telling you, it's gotta be on-chain. Like, literally, content that's stored on a blockchain, decentralized, immutable. No single company can pull the plug. No government can strong-arm a server farm. If the content is literally part of the network, how do they censor it? They can't. They'd have to shut down the entire chain, which is basically impossible.Am I coping? Maybe. But I'm SICK of these fake "free speech" platforms. They're just honeypots for normies. The real fight is for truly uncensorable comms. What do you frens think? Is it even possible, or are we doomed to this endless cycle of platform hopscotch?
